Should I be putting anything special in my tank to feed my live rock? Thanks, I am still learning!

No, you don't need to feed live rock.

lol oh man they tell people anything these days!
um i'm assuming they were trying to sell you some sort of additive to increase coraline algae growth in your tank. what tank size do you have and what do you plan on having in it? fish or just corals or both?
i recommend using B-Ionic, a brand name of part 1 (alkilinity) and part 2 (calcium) additive. its made plenty of coraline algae in my tank (that purple stuff that covers ur rocks). Gluck and be sure to ask more questions!!!

Right now I have 8 Damsels, 1 Porcupine Puffer, 2 clowns with anemones, 1 cucumber, live rock and fake rock...We just want fish, nothing to outrageous...oh and I have them all in a 220
