Live Rock Question

I have some live rock that has been out of water for about 8 months, Can I reintroduce them to my newly set up Aquarium? or did I kill them off by not keeping them in water.

Needs to be cured before placing in your current tank.

its dead but you can still use it as base rock and eventually it will become live rock again.

go ahead and add to the tank. just rinse it off really good. just seed it with some live rock.
have you added fish to the tank already.

Like he said. Rinse it off realy good (RO water) and it will get seeded. I did this with LR that was sitting outside in the sun/weather for 6 months. I thoughly cleaned/scrubbed/boiler it before I placed it in. Didnt want any of that nasty stuff in the rain......in my 29 tank. Went that extra mile just because it was outside in the elements.
