Live rock question

I hate the price of live Rock up here in northern Wi. And i am wondering how much everyone else pays for oh say figi rock. I am really cerious how much ya pay for it in the south?

I live in Ca. and I can get it from my LFS for about $3 a lb. I've also ordered some online for a little better quality for $6-$8 a lb.

I live in Miami, Fl and get it for either $5-$6

I bought 160lbs of figi un cured here in Indy for 2.49 lb. I was very happy with it.

I live in Spartanburg, South Carolina and there are only two LFS that I know of that sell live rock and one sells it for $7 per lb and the other is $9 per lb. I ordered mine online for 3.98 per lb shipped.

I feel your pain. I grew up in Tomah, Wisconsin (Go Packers!!) about an hour from Lacross. I now live in Alabama, about an hour from Pensacola and can get live rock for about 5 to 6 dollars a pound. Its great stuff. Lots of hitchhikers. And the lfs that I do buss. with is not in it for the money, and love what they do.

average here is $3.99 lb
highest seen at LFS here is $10 lb (cater to the rich store)
your best bet would be getting it online
usually on average you can find at least 3 online retailers that have 45 lbs for $99 + S&H
you could check them out & maybe ask here if anyone has purchased form that particular vendor
some people have even ordered here w/ good results
but it's $200 w/ S&h
