Live Rock Stacking

I have noticed in some picts that some people are using the back and sides of their tanks to help support the LR when staking it. I have my LR about half way up in my tank. However, I am afraid to stack any higher, do not want it to fall, and I can clean glass all the way around my tank.
If I use some of the back of the tank to help support rock I could stack a little higher. Any words of wisdom from experience on the way to stack your rock out there ??
Thanks much,,,

I personally have some of my rock leaning on the back. I used to have a couple pieces touching the side but over time, it looks horrible as you can't get in close enough to clean. I recommend at lease 2-3" of open space on the sides, but leaning against the back is fine. If you're worried about rockslides, you could always use marine epoxy and glue the rocks.

I Have My Rock Stacked In The Middle Because My Tank Is Visible From Two Rooms, I Just Use Smaller Pieces To Stack Larger Pieces On The Higher I Go.
And I Am Able To Have Holes For The Fish To Swim Through Also That Way.
