Live Rock (thanks MR. Salty)

Steve I found a lfs about 30 miles away that had some live rock so i picked up 10lbs and put it in the tank. The trigger loves it and keeps biting it. He liked it so much he let the clown have the rock he used to like (which was the clowns to start with). Thanks for the info.

Glad you like it. Watch your ammonia,you may get a slight rise in it. Live rock is much like adding a fish,There should be many "critters living in it,and the bio system may need to balance out. What kind,and how much did it cost? Does your trigger actually bite off and chew it up? The Humma I had (for a couple hours)did. STEVE

It was Fiji @ 11.00 lb. Yes he bites it and chews it up. Looks like he is eating popcorn.
My Lunar wrasse that jumped out last night seems to be ok. Glad i was still awake when he jumped out.

Cool huh, Dont you just love all this excitement. The way they bite off that rock,immagine gettin' ahold of your finger...OUCH....I pay 8bucks for my fiji, but it may not be as nice as yours. STEVE
