Live Rock turning colors

My LR has been in my tank for almost 3 weks and it is now changing colors. The green is slowly turning to white and the puple has gotten darker. Is this nornal or good?.

what kind of lighting do you have?

Just some plain light that came with the tank, nothing special. What kind of lighting should I have? I plan for a FOWLR and clean-up crew.

Your LR is dying from the move. This is normal. It will then dust in brown Diatom Algae as your nutrients spike. Followed by some green and Coraline Pinks (over time).
Be patient.

Just wanted to make sure. I already have the brown stuff forming on my LR and LS. Afterthat stuff goes away does it mean that I am ready for fish? Testing the water fist of couse!
