viper_930 Active Member Sep 1, 2004 #2 Does the red patches rub off easily? If it does, it is cyanobacteria, bad stuff. Get some more powerheads, check nitrates, and/or phosphates. If it doesn't rub off easily then it is coralline algea. Good for looks, good stuff.
