would like some info on how much light you would need with fish only with live rock and what kind of light do you need

All I used for the longest time was the basic flourescent light that came with the tank. Then I upgraded to just a different bulb - it was some cheap 50/50 actinic and sunlight from *****.

Just the regular normal output lights would be ok. The only downside to going cheaper and less powerful would be that the coraline would grow slower and not as deep purple.

You dont need anything special for a FOWLR tank..Just basic florescent lighting
