Live rock

Looking to add live rock to my tank since it was first set up. The tank has been established for 2 years and has approx 25#s already. I was going to do some additional landscaping . The live rock is coming from a reputable lfs . I just need to know what precautions one might take so I dont Blow up my environment.

If this is cured LR and you have less than a 1hr drive from your LFS, it should be okay to add to your tank. To be on the safe side, monitor the water parameters after you add it.

It is less than 1 hr,more along the lines of 20 min. just wasnt sure of "klingons" along the way that might cause problems. Always better safe than sorry when your dealing with this type of time investement...not to speak of $$$$$$$

As long as the rock remains wet during transport, it should be fine.
