i just received another 50 lbs of LR in addition to my 40 lbs fo my 55 gallon tank
it was supposed to be precured
i don't think it was though..... it smells so bad my dog won't even go into the patio where i'm curing it right now....
if i put in the 50 lbs of live rock in my tank... than that means i have 90 lbs
can i take the bio balls out of my sump and turn it into a refug?
will the tank crash if i add all 50 lbs of cured rock at once? will the tank crash if i take all the bio balls out at once?

Is there anything living in the tank now? If not, I would just recommend putting it straight into the tank and recycle the tank.
Otherwise, put the new LR into a Rubbermaid tub, add a heater and some flow, and cure it there for a few weeks while performing occasional water changes.
