Live Rock?

Basicly I'd like to know whats the deal with live rock?

anything that can fit.. bacteria....algea.....crabs......worms....shrimp......fish.......yes, people have been known to recieve fish inside their rocks.

Iv'e been reading about curing rocks before placing them in the tank whats that all about?

You have to "cure" them to get rid of all the die off that occurs during transport. You can put uncured rock in a new tank that is cycling (before you have ANY livestock).

I assume it's already fully cured? If you have a very short trip home from the lfs you should be okay. I buy fully cured LR from my lfs ( 10 minutes away) and put it directly in my tank, but I only do about 5 lbs at a time.
