Live Rock

I want to put live rock in my tank. But when I went to the store today, the man said I couldn't because of my bleached coral and other ornaments in there. He said "bad things can happen". Is this true???? How could this be true if there is bleached coral in many substrates. I just want some live rock, but I at least want some of my other stuff in there for a while till I fill it up with more "real stuff"

Hello, Fish. I see you are new to our board. Welcome!
The forum you posted in, "The Aquarium" is basically for off hobby topics; thus, I am going to move your topic to the Reef Forum, where I think it will get more attention.
BTW: The guy at the LFS probably wanted to talk you into not using dead coral heads and buying MORE Live Rock from him! Now, if your dead coral is actually "bleeched" with clorine bleech, then he may have been genuinely concerned.
