Live Rock

I have a 55 gallon and am in the process of setting up a reef tank. I was wondering about how many pounds of Live Rock to put in it.

I would recommend at least a lb for every gallon.

Reef tanks should have 1-2lbs per gallon.The more the better,so you should shoot for TWO lbs per gallon....

Lets put it this way, in my 110 i have 400lbs. of lr and it looks amazing, in a 29 mini reef i have 75lbs of lr. and it barely fills the tank

Build it up untill it looks the way you want it or when it looks natural sticking to the guidelines for a good bio filter.
