Live Rock

Im adding live rock to my tank and Ive been reading around and studying and I will need to take my fish out when I do right?....and if so for how long....

i dont see why you would have to take the fish out when you add live rock? especially since im assuming your tank is already cycled without the rock, just go ahead and put it in..

Is the lr your getting cured? How much are you planning on adding and what size tank is this?

The tank is a 29g and Im getting it shipped to me from a man in the saltwater business....so Im assuming its cured.....

Put the rock in either another tank or rubbermaid tote or bucket with a heater and powerhead. Test for ammonia and nitrites and if there are any the rock is uncured, you will have to let it cure for a few weeks until it reads zero for at least a week, you may have to do water changes to keep the ammonia under 1. Don't put it in your tank until you are sure it's cured, it should smell fresh when done curing.
