how many different colors can you get on your live rock and is pc lighting enough light

By colors I'm assuming your talking about coraline algae. Coraline grows pink and purple and bright green if I'm not mistaken. Pc's will be fine to grow all that. Coraline doesn't need much light at all to grow. I grew it under normal output florescents for a long time until I upgraded. Make sure your calcium levels are good and you'll have no problem.
