Live Rock

I see that alot of you have live rock in your FO tanks. What is the reson for that ?

Filtration. It also looks more natural and provides places for fish to hide.

Filtration, and it looks way better than the fake corals. I just added LR to my fish tank about 3 weeks ago. I've got a lot of really nice colors coming out on it, and my fish love to hide in the caves and crevices it has.

live rock is very beneficial to your tank. like mentioned above, it's natural filtration which will help keep your water quality better and it looks a lot better than fake corals and 'pirate ships' or what-not.

dose any one know where i my buy some bigger pieces of liverock as all my lfs only have 2-3 in rocks

I've never got it here before, but it can't be that bad.

LR from SWF.com has amazing quality and I would recommend it over anywhere else

I think you should buy LR from a physical store, where you can actual see it. This way you can pick the pieces with shapes you like. When you order online, you get random shapes that may or may not look good in your tank.

had to do some traveling was worth it thank you so much

Sounds like my LFS's prices. You can uusally find someone local selling it a lot cheaper, I bought mine from a guy breaking his tank down for 2$/lb.
