Live Rock

Hello I am new to salt and am in need of live rock. Does anyone know where to get it for cheap?

Ha ha ha cheap lr is base rock. The cheapest ive gotten decent lr for was 4.99 a lb.normally I pay 7.99 for really good suff

You may be able to find less expensive (not cheap, that doesn't exist) lr on craigslist or at a local aquarium society. Otherwise, invest in a few pounds of good live rock, and get base rock for the remainder. Then, set up your aquascape using both types of rock and the base rock will become live over time as the critters in the lr will spread onto all of the rock.

Yeah, I usually buy my rock locally so that I can select the pieces to create an attractive aqua scape.
