Live rock?

I have a FO tank with approx 85lbs of rock. When I originally purchased the fiji rock, most of it was purple; however, just recently, the purple color has been slowly being replaced by white. I thought the white color was simply were my puff was working on his teeth, but there is simply to much. Is it possible that I need higher intensity lighting. I currently have ONLY 180watts of perfecto strip lights?

I had to get another light for my rock, and did notice a difference with the extra light. I also have been using CoralVital which I am really beginning to believe in, even though it is expensive.

i have used a combo of normal and coral lights on my tank and my live rock is flurishing. but god, the coral lights are expensive.
