live sand choice?

ok not sure on what to use. its between 100lbs fiji pink 1.5mm sand grain or100lbs oolitic sand 0.2mm-1.2mm grain. anyone have an opinion on these? also what type of ls is everyone using?

When they are that close in size, it boils down to what the live stock will be. You will have to check, because some can be irritated by some grain sizes. With the size grains you have picked, which one to you looks the best? Thats which one I would pick. Just my 2 cents.

i would use the finer sand cause either way your fine. if you want fish that need fine sand then that would work and if not it won't hurt anything.

I like oolitic or oolite and will probably be adding it to my 55 gal which I hope to purchase this weekend. Have to let the wife know first though

I envy all you guys/gals who have your mates on board with you love with SWF. Can't live with them...Cant shoot them

Give your wife the BLACK AMEX CARD and you shall have no problems my friend
