live sand from rona

I went to rona today and found play sand thats all white sand, and the size of salt grain. this is what it says on the bag.
"dry, heat treated to remove allergens bacteria free. Power screened to remove dust and fine silica (safer than beach sand) ideal for terrariums and aquariums too". has anyone used this before? or should I be the first one lol?

Personally, I have not heard of it. But if it sounds too good to be true----it probably is.
But then again I am a purest when it comes to my reef tank. I wouldn't even buy South Down Play Sand, although it is probably safe. I went with 100% pure aragonite, from ESV. I love it.
Sorry, this probably doesn't help you much!

if youve never heard of it, i wouldnt use it. remember an etra 50.60 dollars in sand can save a reef worth over $1000. be safe. spend a little extra and save alot more!
