Live sand question

I just took the cc out of my tank and replaced it with sand. When I do water changes now i don't siphin throught the sand like I do the cc, right.

you will probably need to get some sand cleaners to do the floor polishing now, sand sifters but stay away from the starfish, use snails, fish, conch's etc. jmo tobin
