LIVE SAND/ROCK Question

i live in Fl can i just go to vanderbilt beach and grab some sand out on the ocean and use it for my new tank plus where can i get nice cheap live rock rememberr im a noob to the larger tanks.

I would make sure you check with the local law and enviromental officials.
I am sure you wouldn't want to go to jail in your bathing suit with buckets of sand!

I would not collect LR from the sea in Florida as I believe it is illegal.

you can look for broken pieces of coral on the beach while u are there.. ship me a few pounds for the suggestion

I do not believe it is illegal to take sand from a beach, but you will most likely bring home alot more then just sand. sift thru it and find all sorts of life!

most beaches are pretty polluted now, i wouldn't do it. live sand is cheap. look for a local fish club and a lot of times it's even free.
