I live close to the beach, i wanted to know if the live sand you buy from the store is the same from the beach. Is there a big diffrence. Is there a problem with the sand from the beach.

You cannot use sand from the beach.
First, it is most likely illegal=taking sand from the beach causes erosion..so there are probably laws in place to protect this.
Second..think of the beach as the trash dump of the ocean. It is like the ocean's skimmer...all of the nasties wind up there. You don't want water from the beach either.

the only way you can use the sand from the beach is if you get the sand way out in the ocean away from all the polution from the people at the beach.
