live sand

pulled down my 125g reef on friday. gave away the live rock on sat. but i still have the live sand in buckets in the house how long will it still be live???????

It depends, what temp is it at

70 degree or so, like i have seen it in bags at the lfs. My son wants it for his tank and don't want to give him junk.

Well, seeing how they have them in room temp bags at the lfs, it should be fine to add to a differant tank.
