be patient it will probably take a total of 4-5 weeks to fully cur your live rock. Did you get it in the mail? If so the rock is all you need to start a spike.

yes i did get it thought the mail. i was just figuring somthing would be happining by now. is it normal to have crystal clear water while curing rock?? or should it be cloudy because that is what i was expecting.

I'm still kind of new to this but i have always just used the smell test. If it stinks it's not cured. If it has no smell then you are good to go.

??????????? something doesn't sound right. i would put a raw shrimp in to see if you can cause an ammonia spike and go from there. odd for a tank to go from a reading of 1 to 0 in 2 days.

I have been doing a lot of experimenting with cycling my tank. I have done it four times over the course of the last 7 months. One was not intentional! LOL! here's what I've learned.
1. My water looked clearer BEFORE I got an ammonia spike.
2. Adding half of the rock, letting it cycle for two weeks, and then adding the other half of the rock seems to be the fastest method for cycling a tank. I don't pretend to know why, but the most recent time I cycled my tank only took three weeks using this method.
3. Doing a water change did NOT help my tank cycle faster.
4. Adding a hardy cleaner crew member after two weeks DID help my tank cycle faster.
I have done a lot of reading, and decided to just do some experimenting on my own. I'm far less knowledgeable than most of the people on this board, but thought I'd share my own personal experience with you!

why are you doing water changes?
Are you curing this liverock in the display tank? if so that's good, You can cure all of your liverock and at the same time your cycling your tank. now your cycle will be complete in a few weeks. and you don't need to do a waterchange at the meantime(unless ammonia gets higher than 1)
Two things are going on either your liverock is partially/mostly cured or you're causing the sudden changes in levels with the waterchanges.
I would just let it be, put a raw shrimp in for a few days and see if you get an ammonia spike.
