mine eats alge off the glass, rock, filters, and heater. but not off the sand. but then again he eats any food i put in the tank, so maybe he's to full
he is the king of the tank, will take food right out of other fishes mouth

I just added one to my 46g. bow and he chops down the algea of the sand, glass, overflow, liverock and everything else.

Mine eats all the algea off the LR, glass, filter, and powerheads, but doesn't touch the sand

for the brown algae get some scarlet legged hermit crabs... their always searching for food in my sand beds lol

so the LMB eats brown algea? and the scarlet legged hermit crab will eat the brown algea?

mines clears the glass of brown and red algea..i dont have any sand so i can't help you there.

my cleans the glass and rock as others have stated.. never seen it touch the sand... but i guess if there's a lot on top of the sand, who noes, maybe it will too...
