Lobed Leather stretching for light?

Alright, I just finished the surgery and uploaded the pics. I know Im a few days late, I waited until it was time for another water change. Here are the pics.

I cut the leather with a razor blade, and super glued it to a rock. I couldnt get the rubber band to cooperate so I tried the glue. To my suprise the leather released very little slime.
I also glued a zoo frag, that I purchased at my LFS, to a rock and they were back in the tank and fully open.
I added about 7-9 lbs of LR I have had curing for a few weeks now.
I placed the leathers at different spots in the tank to see how they would react.
I guess we will see, and I'll keep updating.
