Hi, finally got some fishes for my marine tank.
Any ideas where I could put the two powerheads in my tank?.. I've tried putting them in the back glass, but the sand end up on the liverocks. As you can see atm its going from left to right, and on the left side there is no sand on the bottom,, and i have to move the sand back every couple of days.
The tanks is approx 240 Gallon

Thanks

they are rated at approx 500gallon per hour.. i got 2 of them, as i read on this forum, most people have about 10X water movement. With those two plus my 1000gph return pump.. i'm pretty close,, but too much sand movement..

Can you face the powerhead output so it pushs the water more to the surface instead of down or straight ahead?

I agree, place your ph's a little higher and use the deflector upwards. You want good surface aggitation and movement. Not just water current in the tank. Try "kiddie cornering" them to point to the front and up. It may help.
