Did anyone honestly thing that there was not going to be a season? Its a 9 billion dollar annual business. Let me say that again, It is a 9 BILLION dollar annual business. There was no way it wasnt going to get resolved in time for training camps. The lockout shouldnt be blamed for anything really. The offseason was that. No practice time was missed for anyone as during the off season it is up to the players to workout/practice. If anything, this will be an interesting next few days with all of the anticipated free agency. Look out spenders, here comes the cash!
Oh yea, suppose I have to support my crappy team. Go 9ers! Its only been 10 years since we made the playoffs / been relevant. I dont see us doing anything this year either. Woo hoo fun..........

Jan 2003 the niners had the largest come from behind win in NFC playoff history. Your math is a little off.

First post of yours I have read in a long time, good thing I did too as you know nothings about football.
From http://football.about.com/library/weekly/aa010503a.htm :
After falling behind by 24 points late in the third quarter of Sunday's playoff game with the New York Giants, San Francisco capped the second-largest
comeback in NFL Playoff history when Jeff Garcia hit Tai Streets with a 13-yard touchdown pass with one minute left in the game, giving the 49ers a 39-38 win.
Anyone who knows anything about playoff football knows that the largest comback in playoff history was the bills over the oilers. From http://www.nfl.com/videos/auto/09000d5d810a9b7f/Top-Ten-Comebacks-Bills-stampede-Oilers
I believe it was 35-3 late in the second quarter and the colapse began. Warren Moon was strugling with keeping his team focused. Now it provides lessons for all teams that its not over until its over. Thanks Yogi Berra, you have never been more poignant.
In the early 2000's, it was all about the AFC and the strangle hold the NFC enjoyed for almost 20 years was over. It didnt matter really who the NFC sent to the superbowl in the early part of the decade, the AFC was going to win. It just so happens that in that year, the raiders played a really bad game under a really bad coach. Chucky made the switch that offseason only to find out that he just couldnt do much about the front office and the bucs started their strugles.

Actually if you watched that oilers game, the The bills got lucky, because on 2-3 of their huge bomb of a play, the receivers went out of bounds then back in and made first contact with the ball. If the Ref's had done their job, it would have never happened.

After garrett took over, barber got less carries and choice got more.
That tells me who garrett trusted and wanted running the ball.
Roy just dropped to many balls and has been on his way out for a while.
