shrooms secrete a slime that will keep the stem from binding to the glue and rock. The only real good way is to go to a fabric store and pick wedding veil fabric and place the shrooms on the rock and wrap the veil over the shroom and rock and hold in place with rubber bands. The best way I found to do this is to wrap them tight, not to the point that they are squeezing thru the fabric but to the point that even the water flow can not disturb them and let them float under the veil and above the rock. After two to three weeks they should have taken hold of the rock. Some times some of my shrooms will be hard headed and not take a good footing for another week or two, while the rest have taken a great hold. Remember your playing with a live critter and everything has its own agenda and will to do what “it” wants. Were just trying to manipulated them to do what we “the keeper” wants. HTH
