Wait till you start getting stung by them on a daily basis. That is the fun part. Most of the people I know wont even stick their hands in their tank after lights out. I do it all the time. I've gotten so used to them, I would grab them with my fingers and pull them out. I wouldn't recommend that though. Just hope they arent fireworms or atlantic bristleworms.

I have pulled out several monster bristle worms out of my tank. A few of the bristle worms have been around 8+ inches long.. Been stung by a few also. Ouch !

They're not bad when they're small, and even the fat ones are afraid of you. But if you do hit one, MAN. That crap itches. I just %&*^$ slap my rock before I stick my hand in there if I am going to move something. Usually that causes them all to draw in. Then the occasional curious one comes out and gets me.

I grabbed a rock and must have surprised a bristle, this was about 2 weeks ago. When I held my finger to the light, we could see the bristles stuck there. It was painful for a week!
A lot like touching a lotus tree branch.
