Just saw the sweetest 150 gallon tank today. Tank, canopy, and oak stand for $599.00 (everyday price, not on sale). It should be perfect for my V. lion, Lola. My problem was that the only available wall for my aquariums are 4ft wide. You guys that aren't married really have no idea who the real BOSS is:scared: This 150 has a 48"x24" footprint. Perfect! Again, you married guys will be able to follow me here, I'm still a few hundred dollars short before I can get the tank. Shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 months. Apparently, the

[hr]
, car payments, and food for the kids takes priority!!!!
Was going to get a 75 for Christmas, but the funds really weren't available. Turned out to be a blessing, though

You'll be cutting it real close my man with the space issue. Just make sure you have room to reach the back of your tank with (filtration maintenence) but other than that, a 150 is a great sized tank for a volitan lion. They really dont need length, just width mostly. 48x24 footprint should be perfect.

Lola's still pretty small (3" length and 5" wingspan) so she should be OK for a few more months. I can put her in the 55 gallon if I have to. However, patience is a good thing and I now have something to plan for. I could go and buy the tank today, but in our household, all major purchases go through a committee like process. Sounds weird, but it works for us. I'm shooting for March/April when I get tax refunds and bonus checks.

That's cool cubfan that you can plan like that. Your lion will like the new home as he gets bigger and bigger.
