Goes to show you I have been reading alot on the threads. Yes I mean't infertility. This is the second attempt at Invitro-fertilization.
The hole will not weaken the base. But yes, if they ask to have it the other way, then why didn't they ask me? I tell my wife that they suffer from Cranialrectumitis. Inflamation of the rectum due to head insertion.

Wow...I'm actually surprised the bottom is holding it....at least it didn't crumble after a few days or during the initial fill.
I'm trying to picture your situation as though it were my stand but I'm stuck in my thinking somehow....If you have a space of 23 inches now how does turning it 180 degrees give you more space?My stand has wood at the bottom of it and right under the tank as well.
I could flip it until next tuesday,but the space between those two peices of wood isn't going to get any bigger....I must be missing something lol.

All I can say is WOW...and I am so sorry this happened to you. To tell you the truth, I believe it too. There are some crazy people out there that don't give a S#%^ and are only worried about the money. And to make it worse, the stand comes in a box, and they should be smart enough to figure out, in order to read the words on the box, the stand has to be right side up. I have dealt with alot of ignorant people in my life when it comes to fish tanks, but this has got to be one of the worst!!!

The Megaflow is sitting on the brace. If the stand it right side up, then the megaflow will sit on the wood and the tank is about 3 to 4 inches above. Right now the wood is 3 to 4 inches above the wood leaving a dead space that could be utilized if the other way around.
Ahhh IC...that helps the mental picture a lot.
I'd be mad as heck too...i don't buy into "they must have had a reason" excuse....sounds more like sheer stupidity to me.

Innocent until proven guilty in the court of law, after 4 or 5 appeals, and multiple years of lawyer bargaining and tens of thousands of dollars in fees...
Basically, you can't expect an ignorant moron to admit they are wrong unless you beat it out of them...and violence is just not the answer (mentally painful as it is to resist the urge sometimes...)
Seriously though, good luck with the whole situation. I just finished moving my 29 to a new stand as the old one wasn't as sturdy as we thought (seemed to be starting to crack...). I can't imagine moving a 90 around.

There is this great little option called "small claims" court, cost maybe $20-$50 to file and have them served with papers. Document everything with photos, get a statement from All-Glass, take photos of tanks they have setup on display in there store (sneak in or send in a friend with a digital camera) Tank photos of the actual problem, provide dimensions and be very specific, judges love it when your detailed. Go for the cost of replacing the stand along with your time off work for filling. This will get their attention. With small claims court, neither side can have an attorney involved, it's just you and them.

My wife told her that it was funny that the Manufacturer says your idiots, everyother lfs and the message board that has more knowledge about saltwater fish tanks from all over the world think your idiots, and then told her that in Websters Dictionary her picture is in there under ass*#@e! God I Love her. Then she left before she got herself into trouble.
