Long Island NY reef clubs

I was just wondering if there are any reef clubs on Long Island. I see some post but they are from 2004.

sure there is the l.i.r.a. They meet in bayshore the second or thurd saturday of every month. I had gone to one meeting but am planning to attend all of the up and coming meetings. they meet at the arthur murray studios on montauk hwy. The last time I went there was a speaker from dt's that spoke on propigation of phyto and rotifers. you should check it out. :happyfish

i dont know what do you consider advanced, I havent been doing this very long but the more I can learn the more informed I become, I think most of the people going to these things are average joes.
