Hey guys, i'm interested in putting a long spined urchin in my 260g reef. I have all SPS and clams. I also have a couple of LPS but no softies except a couple of mushys. I've been reading up on these guys but i can't seem to make a desicion.
Should i go for one and see what happens or is it not worth it?
I need advice, the more the better. Pretty Please!

I got one because someone in my reef club was giving it away.
I REALLY like the way it looks, and it is a very interesting addition....but he now resides in my fuge, because he was knocking lots of stuff over - and I think he was eating corraline.
thats just my experience....he was cool enough to keep, but lives n my fuge. btw, im not inhumane...my fuge is 20g and is a display fuge

i had one and well, i had clams being stabbed to death from spines. It killed 3 clams before i knew what happened. take my heed and understand they will stab soft coral and clams, i regret the death of the clams.
hope all goes well
