Long Tenacle plate coral question

I have a medium sized plate coral that i bought last week from the lfs. Well today after i got home from work it appears that quite a few of the stalks near the center look to have there top white tip part popped and the stocks are deflated.. What would cause this? Please dont ask about levels becuase i have 5 other types of corals in there and there all fine.

I had the same problem. My plate slowly fell apart and died. I went about a month later and bought another. A month later that one died too. So, I quit buying them. I guess they aren't meant to be in my tank. I have a dozen other corals and they are all healthy and growing fast.

I have a plate that changes shapes throughout the day. Make sure that the plate is 3-4" away from other corals and anemones.
