long tentacle anemone?

i just added what i think is a long tentacled anemone to my fo tank.i had a feather duster in there already.as soon as i added the anemone it crawled under a rock and hid from view.my maroon clown is fanning the sand trying to get to the anemone.can i move it out in the open.i would like to keep my eye on it.how would i know if it dies? thanks for any replys.

You THINK it's a LTA?
I wouldn't move it, it's just going to go where it wants anyway.
Just curious though, where did you get it that you're not sure?

i bought it from a lfs,i didnot ask what it was.it has a orange body and light brown tentacles.i will have to go back to id it.

I don't want to sound preechy but if you don't know what it is you probably don't know how to care for it. You really need to ask your LFS what it is and then do some research on it asap.

That could also be a haitian or similar atlantic anemone, which generally aren't considered good mates for clowns. You might want to check further.

i went back to the lfs,was told it is a long tentacle anemone.he has attached it self to a rock so i wont try to move it.i turned the rock around so it is more visible.i did some research on it,care level and light is moderate and water flow is medium so i should be alright.i just wanted it to be in full view, but i will leave it alone.thanks again for the replys.
