TRUE! I live off lake erie somewhat and I've heard many stories of sturgeon living really long lives.

I have had a grow - a - frog (i ordered him and he came as a little tadpole in the mail) since I was 12. That was 14 years ago. I am not joking. It has been sitting above my toilet ever since. Maybe it is thriving b/c of the smell but it it is awfully strange. I am beginning to think it is not real and is something the government sent me with a camera inside. . But .... The really weird thing is that my girlfriend has one about the same age and I never met anyone before who had one.
WWEEIIRRDD.
Oh yea, my tang and clown fish are both over 2.5 yrs old but Im not quite sure how old they are

Thats not like one of those Gia pet things is it?
I had one for a chameleon. You get the egg, or in the frogs case, the tadpole, and grow it up. Like keeping a baby...well sort of
:D

I had a pirahna that lived for 15 years. Thats way past what any of the books say they live for in captivity. I finally stuck him in the freezer.
can i ask why would you place a fish in the freezer? to kill it?

Just remembered where I read about the supposedly multi-century old koi, the national geographic edition on the japanese imperial palace! The koi have always had a person who grew up to do nothing but take care of koi.... where can I find that job for sw?
