The pic shows a coral eating bug. This is the same “bug” that I still can not positively ID.
I found this same coral eating “bug” in a favia coral that my LFS could not figure out why the favia was dying. Once I found it and removed the two of them the favia started to bounce back and re-grow.
This is the live pic from the seller and the next is the dead pic of the “bug” that I chased out with a fresh water dip mixed with blue solution.
Hope this helps people realize the potentially hazards hitchhikers that may come with your new coral.
