outside this morning. everyone meet Wilma. we are getting hit with the backside of the hurricane as i type. we have branches down, and getting hit with pretty good wind gusts. up to 80 mile per hour. My husband had to go to work last night, so its just me and my three kids. (he is a police officer) well, at least we still have power for now.

We have a generator, so i can plug in a few things on my tank if and when we loose power. I am going to plug in the skimmer, and either the canister filter or the hangon back filter, and a power head.

that's nothing.....we rode out Rita here in Lake Charles and we got the full impact of the eastern wall of the eye right on top of us. I could show you pictures that we took from just around our neighborhood that will make you feel very fortunate that Wilma is only a weak category 3.....good luck all the same. It's rough in any case and keep that tank running!!
