We also try to get a diving vacation in every year, usually in March. We'll be spending the first week in March in Cozumel (again). This will be my 5th time there. Last year diving there was great, but kinda sad after Wilma. I've heard that the reefs are coming back great though, and there have even been seahorse sightings...yay!!

Hey Lisa,
Gotta love diving. Sounds like you've got quite a bit of experience. Dive Master sounds like the ticket! A litte out of the ordinary for someone in Wisconsin.
They have a big dive club where you are? Never been to Cozumel. When we deploy on ship, we do get a chance to visit a few ports while transiting so I got REALLY spoiled and don't dive in CA anymore. Too cold, too dark. Been to Hawaii (got certified there) Thailand, South Africa (Seychelles), Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, and Bali. Can you tell I hate the cold? Shorties is about all you need. Can't beat the vis, variety, and bathwater temps!!! That's what I call diving. A 3mm shortie is all you need if anything. Wish I could take some of those fish home. Oh, forgot. The prices are incredible! Twenty-five bucks for a 2 tank dive was about the norm. Did 3 dives in one day for $35 in Thailand that included lunch, wreck/deep dive, drift dive, and a wall dive! Saw my first seahorse there. Would love to see a shark, but not the great white or tiger variety, though. I'm praying that we stop in Australia this time out. Anyway, best of luck on becoming Dive Master. Lots of responsibility there. Take care.
