i would chack for leaks in that tank if i were you and that stand is no good its not sturdy at all from the way it looks.

it does look like it needs some work... but it'd be cheaper to refurbish it all than to buy a whole new setup!

Thats pretty cool, even if the stand is in crappy condition. U can fix that up and make it like new.

All the stand needs is some sanding/restaining or some paint. I have a 125 and the stand, I'm sure, was fine but just to make me feel better I cut up some 2x4's and reinforced it all over the inside. It was reall easy to do and it gave me piece of mind. The stand is PROLLLY ok!!! But as the other's have said a few more boards sistered against the sides and cross sections inside the stand would be a good idea.
I Got my 125 (drilled w 2 corner overflows), Stand, wetdry, 1300 gallon pump, skimmer, uv sterizer, and a 500 watt titanium heater for $300 bucks.
But free is almost always better!

Ya know I just looked real good at the picture..Is that tank missing an overflow? It only has one but looks like its drilled for two??? Also, why are there bioballs in the bottom of the overflow???

It only has one overflow in the middle. its drilled in the bottom (3 holes) 1 for return and 2 for closed loop system.

Some guy had it and he didnt want it anymore. So he gave it to me. Too bad that it didnt come with the rest of the stuff.
