Coral banded?
Yes, gold coral banded ~ one of a mated pair ~ and neither are hardly ever seen. Usually an antenna or claw once in a while.

Sounds like my two peppermints. They went MIA for the first week, but even now I only see them sometimes when I feed. Nice pic though
Yep ~ there are so many caves/holes in my man-made rock these guys can move from one side of the tank to the other without ever coming out of the rockwork. Thanks ~ it was nice of him or her to pose like that for me.
Make sure you do not have any gobys, mandarins or potters/leopard wrasse with the CB. My CB just killed my potters wrasse while he was sleeping in the sand. The CB can be extremely aggressive as they get big.

Actually the golden-coral banded is neither as large nor as aggressive as the regular coral banded, so shouldn't be an issue. But thanks for the heads up.

Don't know anything about the blue coral banded, but I really like my goldens. Course I don't do a lot of fish, so that may be part of it
