I am lookin for a 75 or 90 gal set up (Tank and Stand min.) Other equipment could be considered. Unfortunately I can not go much bigger I really only have space for 48" length. Please reply here or can e-mail kniquy@earthlink.com

No thanks. I have a 48" space, actually I think that it is larger but the 48" will fit perfectly I have a 29gal now and I hope that this next upgrade will be it I plan to go with the largest I can fit now as to not regret it in the future.
What local fish stores do you shop at? I have a great one in Agawam but they tend to be a bit pricy? They are excellent with any questions I have so I will definitly go to them for live stock. I have priced out the Oceanic reef ready system there. are there any store that you know of in CT which carry oceanic? I definitly don't mind driving a bit to save some $$$

How much are you looking to spend ? One thing jjboods will agree with me on (probably the only thing) is I get pretty good prices on tanks, stands, etc (in NY). But if you are looking for a "ready to go" system, email me. I have a 75g I would part with.

I am not necessarily looking for a complete system. I just want to try and get a good deal on the tank and stand to inturn invest more in the lighting and filtration systems.
I travel out to Worcester,MA on tuesdays and Marlborough is not that far. Do you have the name of the store or directions from the Pike? Thanks for the info!

Does a brand new AGA or Perfecto tank, glass tops, double bulb light and pine stand for $375ish sound like a good enough deal ? Or a 125 for $625 ?

The exact tank I am looking for is 75gal (maybe 90gal) with built in overflow (pre-drilled). The stand and canopy I am leaning towards are either the oceanic or the AGA modern series. It is going in my living room so I would prefer to have something more furniture grade. The oceanic reef ready systems I have looked at are ~$900 - 1000. Which I am hopeing to spend a bit less and put the money towards the lighting and filtration.

I got a price on that EXACT setup about a month ago and it was like $625 or so. It was AGA with oak modern setup (top and bottom). I just sent out for the exact price, so I'll let you know if you're interested.

Ok, got the price. It is $800 for the following:
AGA 75g with overflow
Modern Stand (Oak)
Modern Canopy (Oak)
glass tops
overflow kit (I forgot to add this in the $750 number)
NO lights, you said you wanted to add those. This would be a pick-up in NYC area. Let me know. I can have my guy get for you to pick-up as early as Tuesday evening.

The set up sounds good but I need to discuss it with the husband. He is actually away for business and isn't back until monday. Purchasing anything this coming month is going to be difficult b/c we are leaving after thanksgiving and will be pretty much gone for the month of Dec. I would be looking at beginning of Jan. if I have to go to NYC to pick it up.
