Ehhh the reason it looks like half sand and half barebottom is the flow is so strong in the aquarium that it gets moved to one side or the other within a matter of 3 days so finally gave up on trying to move it back..

Haha - yeah, I hear you. I've been having a similar prob with my koralias. Not entirely bare, but I can't keep the valley in the middle full. Oh well
