It is not a very good idea to have a trigger in 37g, especially the one that gets bigger than 15" in the wild. You may be able to keep him for a while, but make sure you give him a bigger home later on. Then think about what tankmate you're going to have for your niger. But, now is not the time yet......

My niger is only 3" and I know he will need a bigger tank. But he has room to grow it a 37 gallon tank foor now.
