Looking for a passive fish

So I have a 29g reef up for about 3 months now... and I'm looking to add one more fish preferably in the bottom of the water column. (yes it matters)
I currently have a clownfish(middle of column), 1 green chromis(top of column), and a very friendly 6-line wrasse(rockwork swimmer) that seems to enjoy my rockwork. The problem child that I need to replace is a troublesome purple firefish that has decided to take my clownfishes favorite spot in the tank.... which will end badly for him pretty shortly if I don't return him soon.
I'm hoping someone can give me some suggestions for a peaceful fish that I could add that will occupy my seemingly barren sand bed (except for snails and the occasional hermit that decides to venture off the rocks).
I've seen some like yellow watchmen gobies that seem to hang out without pissing off too many of their tankmates but any fish that ppl have had positive experiences with will be greatly appreciated.

I have a scooter blenny and he is real passive. as a matter of fact, when another fish goes after him he just sits there. Ther are pretty ugly fish but have the best personality. IMO

Purple firefish can be aggressive. The fish I have had that were positive and would work in your tank are citron goby, yellow watchman, bi-color blenny (you already have a blenny so the two might not mesh), percula clowns and 6-line. These have been my "friendly fish" and will work for your size tank.

For a "bottom" fish look at a yellow watchman goby.

Your firefish is mean!!!!!!!!! :notsure: I added an angel of a squareback anthias to my tank and my firefish hid in the rocks for weeks, I'm not kidding, i got the anthias Oct. 11 and my firefish vanished, just realized he was still alive 2 days ago!! It's like any type of motion scares the crap out of him!!

Yeah I used to think that all fish fit into this 'behavior category' however after trying a few fish and attempting to follow the sites fish descriptions as a guide I can safely tell you that EVERY fish will behave independant of the 'usual behavior category' described on any of these sites.
So yeah my firefish is a little

for the most part... stubborn,dominant,and selfish.... also remarkably bold he stays front and center in the tank always in view and always standing his ground even when all 3 of his tankmates come in for a hostile takeover.
but I think I will be returning him to the store in favor of a yellow watchman or a blenny of some sort thanks for the positive feedback
