looking for a titan trigger

I am having a difficult time finding a titan trigger for my 650 gallon FOWLR tank. Been looking for about 8 months. If anyone has any leads as to where I can get one I'd appreciate it. I have exhausted all my efforts at most Internet sites. If you know of any local fish stores, individuals, or otherwise who want to sell one, and who ship, please advise. Regards.

This little monster is a very close relative and also very cool....I hope you have appropriate housing if you are considering one. I would say at least 180 gallon, better in an 8 foot tank, and there are very few fish capable of "hanging" with these guys as they age.....Again, very cool fish though, Titan's get a little bigger and have a "mustouche".

Doh, just noticed that...Yeah, that will do.
However I was at the Seattle Aquarium, they had a huge tank (probably 20,000 gallons or so) with hundreds of fish, there was a 10 inch (or so) Titan, being nasty and chasing any fish that came near, the employee who was working at the tank said it was donated by a hobbiest because it started killing off inhabitants in his 500 gallon tank. That was at 10 inches, a force to be reckoned with at 2 feet

The OP asked for information and I aided him in that information not as a fact but only to try and answer and provide information found. The op can do with that information what he wishes... I was actually not recommending it to him nor persuading him to use another marine provider.. I was just showing what I found when I looked to try to help him.
There is no censorship in this forum pertaining to whether or not I can post information from other websites. I do not see any rules or regulations and could not be penalized civily if I did post any information from other websites... I suppose if the Mod wanted to he could technically close the thread down, if that is his peragative...

IMO, your rant (and your interpretation of your 1st Amendment rights) is way off base. This forum is provided by a private business and they make the rules. You have no First Amendment rights on a private site. The Mods could just cut you off completely if they chose to do so. The internet may be a public domain and subject to Constitutional Law, a private site is not.

Sid where are you located? I have a 6 inch titan I am considering parting ways with. I bought it cause it was available but reall want a bluelined fuscus or a clown.

I agree 100% It truly is ridiculous that one cannot post links to sites just because there MAY be some competition. "THEY" even took down the trading/classified section because "they" were scared "they" were losing money... Silly IMO, which is exactly why I would NEVER buy anything from this site!

This is a public site owned by a private company. They can make whatever rules they want, and moderate this site as they see best fit for their business.....If one of the Mods reads this they will delete the link to the competition site, if you don't like it....

Regarding the Titan, I know that they can get REALLY mean and easily can hit 2 feet. I'd add one last and very small if possible... Just my two cents...

yep!! that is my right to do that if I want to! and IF a company wants to and tries to lore clients by promoting and advertising use of a public forum on their private business and then not allow public expression, then MAYBE that is a misrepresentation on their part.
No disrespect to the business (I know it is a very good one and there is no ill will toward them personally)... BUT I was just trying to aid another marine enthusiast, which is the way i'd like to be treated on a "privately owned...alleged pubic forum" ...

You think its your right to come onto a website that these people put up for free with their hard earned money to help people learn about a hobby they make a living from and it should be okay for you to post direct competition. Are you that dense?
