Nas, I searched that site last night. All six pages. I didn't see a magnetic razor anywhere. Can you remember exactly where it was? thanks

The way I found it was to type in "scraper" at the search page and then when results came up it was the about the fourth one down. Its a two piece magnet, one side is green and the other black, and its made by Penn Plax. The desription they give is not that good so maybe thats way you didn't see it.
Here's the description they give for it:
Blade style scraper for removing stubborn algae and stains from glass aquariums. Safety cover for blade. Safe for fresh or saltwater. 1 3/4" x 3/4" x 1 1/2". These are powerful, non-corrosive, rustproof stainless steel magnets.

I'm suprised you came up with six pages, when I just did the search I only came up with 1 page, 13 items.

My Mom had fresh water tanks and she bought this scarper thing. It was on a long like plastic stick thing on side it had removeable razor blades and on the other side it had what kind of looked like a fork it was for planting plants. She got it a the lfs so many that can help you out.

Nas, ordered it yesterday. Let you know how it works out.
Others, read and digest info before replying. A lot of you offered pointless advice that was not relavent to my situtation. Thanks for the thought in any case.

Great, I'll be interested in hearing what you think of it. I had one a few years back and lost it, been thinking of picking up another.

for everyone looking for a great razor scraper, the Penn Plax is NOT the one. After being convinced by the sales person on the phone, who assured me it would work on my thick glass, I was really disappointed. The picture makes it look big, it's not. Its 2 in by 2in and the razor barely sticks out enough to scrap anything. Even on a thin glass tank, I'm not convinced it would work.
However, after calling the store I got a full refund including shipping. In fact they told me to just throw it away and thanked me for the patronage.
Still looking for a solution or an idea to make me rich!
