Looking for aquarium safe epoxy paint?

Aquatic Eco-Systems carry the paint you need. It's a two part epoxy that they sell in various colors, no primer needed on wood surfaces. I shopped for weeks and finally decided they were the best source around. $48 plus HAZMAT shipping (the HAZMAT charge is going to apply no matter where you buy it unless you can find it locally, something I had NO luck with). They will also send you a catalog if you request it on their website, 660 plus pages and it's an awesome read for any do-it-yourselfer. www.aquaticeco.com, WELL worth the visit IMO. :D Post pics when your tank is ready to show off!

hey mel. bad link...does not go to the location.
prior posting. if you're considering the "sprinkler head" option, most are spring loaded and the springs are removeable. that way, you won't have to worry about overcoming add'l pressure.:)

Hey again all, sorry bout the link, it included the period that was supposed to end the sentence, not become a part of the link www.aquaticeco.com let's see if that works. Chainsaw, I'm still checking out the costs of "electronic" valves as opposed to the pressure valves I mentioned earlier. So far I'm fairly certain that it's not going to save much (if any) over a wavemaker and powerheads but it does allow for the personal satisfaction of DIY LOL. I don't think you even need the sprinkler heads on the system, I'm thinking along the lines of reducing the PVC from 1" down to a 3/8" jet arrangement, cycling the lines via the electronic valves. One drawback is that you've got to have one thru-hull (bulkhead) for each *zone* that you're jetting to, fortunately I'm still in the construction stage and I don't think that's a problem. I'll let you know as new things are discovered, probably should start a new thread though LOL ... my appologies for taking this thread off subject a bit.
